2003-02-18 - Bush declares people's voice irrelevant
Bush responds to the protests -- by saying they are "irrelevant."

As for the protests around the world by millions of people opposed to war with Iraq, Bush said they were irrelevant

What else can we expect from a President who wasn't even elected, who clearly regards democracy as irrelevant?

Hey Shrubbie, I have a message for you. There's this thing called the Constitution you're supposed to abide by. I know it's full of long words and hard for you to understand, but maybe Laura or Colin Powell can read it to you and explain it as they go. It says, amongst other things, that the government is there to serve the people, not tell them what's good for them and what they should do. You are supposed to listen to us and implement the policies we want. Spouting shit about how lucky we are to live in a democracy where we can voice our opinions doesn't mean a thing when you don't give a shit about those opinions, when all you care about is the fat profits of your oily friends.

It's time we got rid of this dumb piece of shrubbery.
